There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear! But what happens when our gear is compromised or we’re faced with a survival scenario in the cold? Hmm.. the wilds will soon learn!
Week 3: Fire & Frost (Imbolc)- Small Sparks of Spring
The halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox calls for celebration, reflection and observation!
Week 4: Love Day @ Nature Nook Academy (Field Trip)
A yearly tradition in the making! Last year we celebrated Valentines with our neighbouring nature school, Nature Nook Academy, and it was such a hit.. for both the kids and the animals!

This week we will be diving into the world of herbal teas, their benefits and all their yummy (and maybe not so yummy) tastes!
Week 7: Bird Buddies- Food For Flight
Our Brighton location is getting a site upgrade this week! It’s long overdue and we’re so excited to create a permanent spot for our winged friends to stop for a snack and flight break! Time to build and create just that!

Another yearly tradition at a beloved local spot- Sandy Flats Sugar Bush! Here we will enjoy a horse and buggy ride, tasty treats, cool demonstrations and recieive the low down on ‘how to maple syrup’ from the very best!
